Scholastic Regulations


  • The result declared at the end of the year is final and will not be altered. There will be two terminal examinations in September and the final examination will be conducted in March or as decided. Apart from these, students will have regular class tests in all the subjects on the basis of which the progress of the child will be assessed and it will be taken into consideration while deciding the promotion of the student. For promotion the students must get 33% marks in all the subjects.
  • No arrangement will be made for holding special examination for absentees before or after the time fixed for examination even on medical ground. If the absence is justified, the students will be assessed for promotion by giving weightage according to performance in other examinations during the session.
  • Use of unfair means will lead to dismissal of the students from the school or detention in the same class as the Principal may deem fit.
  • A student who fails twice in the same class will not be permitted to continue his/her studies in the school.
  • Those who fail in any subject will not be ranked.
  • If a child score less than minimum passing marks in two subjects will not be promoted to the next class.
  • Answer sheets of the Annual Examination will not be shown to the students or guardians under any circumstance.
  • For promotion the ward should have 75% attendance in the academic year.
  • All policies are subject to change as per modification and amendment in CBSE norms.

School Discipline


  • The first bell before class is a signal for all to go to the Assembly in proper order.
  • Students should be in school five minutes before the first bell. Those who are late will not be permitted to enter the campus.
  • After assembly they should go to their class rooms, do the prayer, get their books ready in silence and prepare for the beginning of class. Perfect silence should be maintained all through the classes.
  • All should arrive in line. Those who are late or have been absent must obtain an admit card from the Principal or Teacher-in-charge before going to class.
  • Students will not be allowed to go home during class time.
  • Talking loud, whistling and shouting is not allowed in the school premises.
  • Student must not scratch or spoil school furniture, write on the walls or cause any damage to school property. Any damage done or noticed should be reported to the Principal or class teacher.
  • No books (other than school text books and note books or library books), magazines or paper should be brought without the permission of the Principal.
  • The school is not responsible for the goods lost, it is advisable not to bring valuable articles to school.
  • Students are not allowed to bring razor-blades or any sharp instruments to the school.
  • Students of one class/ section are not allowed to be in other class/ section even during the interval.
  • Playing in the class room or in the veranda is not allowed.
  • During the games period or in the interval time students must go in line from the classes to the playground and after the interval also must come in line to the class room without making noise.
  • Students are advised to speak only English in the school premises and in the buses.
  • On their way to and from school students must behave in a gentlemanly way. They must remember that the school is judged by their conduct. Proper conduct should be maintained in the bus.
  • Students are expected to take active part in the co-curricular activities like games, sports, educational tours, and picnics etc, arranged by the school.
  • The school authorities reserve the right to suspend or dismiss a student at any time, when for good reasons, concerning the validity of which the Principal is the judge.

A Word to Parents


The co-operation of the parents in the sphere of school life is solicited in the interest of your wards. You can cooperate by paying personal attention to the following few points:

  • Go through the pages of the diary carefully.
  • Regular inspection of the school diary and the class work copies and work books will help you to give your wards an effective guidance.
  • Kindly provide your ward with all prescribed text books, exercise books and other required stationary in time.
  • Kindly supervise daily that your ward brings only the required text book and note book to the school as per the day’s time table.
  • Kindly provide a proper place with air and light, desk and chair in your home for your wards to study.
  • See that your ward comes to the school regularly in time and in complete school uniform and refrain from sending lunch boxes/note books during school hours.
  • Be in touch with the teacher/Principal to know your ward’s progress.
  • See that your ward completes assigned home work/ project work daily.
  • Encourage your ward to participate in the various co-curricular activities of the school.
  • Send response in time to various circulars, notices, letters sent and kindly attend whenever you are requested to see, in the interest of your ward.
  • Any communications (request or complaint) made by the parent should be addressed to the Principal and should contain name, class and section of the student.
  • Intimate change of address, phone number etc. immediately.
  • Send proper application for leave in the diary where space is provided for leave note.
  • Deposit school Fees/ dues if any on time.
  • Contact the Principal for redressal of any grievances and for clarification.
  • Kindly note and follow the visiting time of The Principal, office and teachers.
  • Make sure that your ward returns to the school promptly on re-opening of the school after vacations.
  • The parent/guardian will use the prescribed sheets in the diary for leave of absence and any communication to the Principal and the teachers.
